Felix is one of the two German-admitted lawyers involved in running rep4eu, together with Christos Paloubis. The legal design of the representation and the designation documents comes from them; the Article 27 designation itself is held by Cloudkasten GmbH, the German company that operates rep4eu.
Background
Felix studied law at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich and the Universidad de León in Spain, and completed his legal training in Munich and Washington, D.C. At Berliner, Corcoran & Rowe LLP in Washington, he gained hands-on experience in US intellectual property and corporate law.
Since the start of his career, Felix has focused on eCommerce, marketing, and media law. Over time, his specialization has deepened into the intersection of competition law and data protection — particularly the legal questions around tracking, ads, remarketing, and direct marketing. He is a certified Data Protection Officer (DSB-TÜV SÜD) since 2017.
Felix regularly teaches and speaks on data protection topics, including OMR Deep Dives. He speaks English and Spanish.
